Next Steps

The Teign Valley Golf Club is now 30 years old and, like many clubs up and down the country, requires significant investment to help to ensure it has a sustainable, long-term future. In particular, the irrigation system requires major work.

The Team at 360 Sycamore have put together ideas for how the club could adapt to meet the environmental challenges ahead, while at the same time becoming even more inclusive, opening up the game of golf to new generations.

Our plans have already evolved following discussions with a planning officer from the Dartmoor National Park Authority, but have not yet been finalised.

Further changes may well be made, and we would welcome your thoughts and ideas before we submit a planning application to the Authority in due course.

With the current membership year coming to an end on 30th April 2024, we propose to keep the golf course fully open for a further six months until the end of October, allowing members and guests to make the most of the peak golfing months.

Accordingly, members will be offered a membership package running from 1st May to 31st October 2024, giving continued access to the course for this time.

Membership will be charged at 50% of the current year rates for 2023/24. Membership renewal will be available via the ClubV1 Members Hub. From 1st November 2024, the course will close in preparation for work to start in 2025, subject to planning permission.

Regrettably, it is not financially viable to keep the course open into the winter of 2024/25.
